This
month, HIV@MSD is celebrating its forst anniversary !!
The
MSD HIV Team would like to thank EACH OF YOU for
your faithfulness and your support throughout the past 12
months!
This
month, HIV@MSD invites you to think of the New Generations,
of the children who have lost their parents to AIDS. The story
that we are about to disclose is full of hope; it takes
you to a friendly and cheerful day care center, Dula Sentle,
in Botswana, where two parents unite to significantly improve
the
life of 130 orphans with a budget of US$ 500 per year and
per
child. No big investments, no fancy advertising campaigns,
just love, education and care as if these children were theirs.
An interesting
and innovative experience in one of the richest
Sub-Saharan countries which at the same time is one of the
countries hardest hit by HIV/AIDS: Botswana.
Botswana
is roughly the size of France or Texas. It is entirely landlocked,
bordered by South Africa, Namibia, Zambia and Zimbabwe. Most
of its inhabitants live in the East and Southeast of the country,
84% of Botswana being covered by the huge Kalahari Desert.
