Despite the gap, training programs focused on HIV have been moving forward. Theoretical and practical training sessions have been organized by the TRAC on how to manage HIV-positive patients and the Ministry of Health has incorporated HIV management into the medical school curriculum. Specific private sector initiatives have also centered on training.
