Still Waiting

After sleeping all night on a bench in this waiting room at Kigali Central Hospital, she was refused treatment because she failed to fulfill the inclusion criteria of the treatment program .

Medical staff here told her to be patient as ARVs would soon be available at the hospital near her home. As of February 2005, she is still waiting to be enrolled in an ARV program. In the meantime, she is too weak to work and is struggling to support her four children.
